Melinda Brobeck, Accounting Manager

I love working with people who are fully engaged in what they do and have a strong sense of loyalty and integrity; that defines Talencio. As a numbers person, I thrive on our commitment to being both quick and accurate. We have a feeling of connectedness that comes from everyone here being focused on clear objectives. This is a great fit for me because without this big picture, there are no numbers.

I was born in the US, but grew up in Norway and came back to get my degree at the University of Minnesota. My career began as a Norwegian Folk musician and I worked other jobs to support my music. Paula Norbom convinced me I could “have it all,” so I’ve been working with and for her since we met at IntraTherapeutics in 2000. Since then, I’ve worked at ev3, Cardiac Concepts, CNS Therapeutics, ThreeWire and EarthClean.

While I still love music, my free time is now devoted to my family, my horse Bruno (a former racehorse who tests my strength) and the two cats and dog we rescued.
