Case studies that describe our placements for human resources professionals:
Talencio’s client, an Australian medical technology company that had recently entered the U.S. marketplace, needed a part-time human resources leader. Talencio’s contractor set up payroll and documented/implemented a payroll process. Additionally, she proposed, presented and implemented a U.S. benefit plan. The contractor created a policies and procedures manual and employee handbook.
Upgrading the human resource process
Talencio’s growing client was in urgent need of upgrading their HR processes. Talencio’s contractor performed an HR audit, compiled the findings and recommended a series of actions. She developed a plan for SOX compliance requirements, conducted job analyses, created job descriptions for approximately 20-25 positions, and developed salary grades. Finally, she reviewed the existing employee handbook and proposed revisions to meet current best practices.
Filling a specialized trainer role
Talencio’s contractor was an Instructional Designer for a strategic training initiative. She developed multi-media training curriculum for end users and affected network partners regarding new business processes and software applications. During the course of her assignment, she was extended twice and subsequently was called back to assist with another training project.
